I LOVE taking photographs of the Cook Family! They always come SO prepared, with so many outfit choices, and they all ALWAYS coordinate to a T. Their daughter, Hava recently turned one, so of course, documentation of this big part of her life was in order! Her adorable laugh, the expression in her eyebrows, and the way she can already run around a room amazed me! Her big brother Harper was there to help her laugh and teach her a thing or two about eating a cake.

Harper was prepping Hava for the infamous, Cake Smash!
So, if you’ve never heard of a Cake Smash – you’re in for a treat! It’s exactly what it means – put your baby in front of a cake with minimal clothing and let them go to town! Some aren’t too sure about the flavor at first, some don’t like getting messy, some cry, but Miss Hava was a PRO!
We had to let Harper get in there and show Hava how to get at it!
