FAMILY: The Kiefer’s // Fargo Family Photographer

I had such an awesome morning shooting the Kiefer’s family session! The Kiefer’s were one of the first family’s my family met when we moved to West Fargo in 1999 – they are as fun loving and genuine as they come! Since they don’t all live in Fargo anymore, it was the perfect opportunity to snap some family portraits over the weekend of Jacob’s graduation from NDSU (congrats!!) Anna + Elijah traveled from Minneapolis and Abby traveled from Phoenix to celebrate Jacob and visit their awesome parents, Kay + Russ. We had a great time laughing about their awesome props (see images below!!), trying to keep Hank (their black lab) calm, and incorporating lots of combinations of images to cherish forever. I love the light in the woods we found – I think it looks so dreamy combined with the fresh budding trees and leaves 🙂 Clearly, this entire family is incredibly photogenic, which made my job easy! I teased the girls to kiss their brother on the cheek – clearly, he was not down for that!! 🙂 Gorgeous couple — loved photographing Anna + Elijah together! AHHH!! Don’t you all love these props?! I’m so into them this year! So.Much.Fun. We recreated this photo from years ago of Russ’ “three favorite girls!”
