January has been quite the month, so, I’m a little behind on blogging, but tonight I’m thrilled to venture back to October to share Karyn + Patrick’s perfect fall wedding day! Their day fell on a super sunny, 60 degree day, in the middle of OCTOBER in North Dakota — unheard of!!! I felt like I knew Karyn and Patrick much more than my other couples, so going into their wedding day, I was super excited to see all the details I had been hearing about, come alive. Karyn’s planning and color palette was on point along with her gorgeous floral selections – I was in photographer’s heaven!!! We chose a rustic, woodsy spot for bridal party portraits, which proved to be quite a hike to the perfect spot – once we arrived, everyone was on their game and ready to create lasting memories for the Krause’s big day. Since the wedding was in Grand Forks, of course we had to stop at Bonzers for a long island schooner before heading over to the reception where the night was filled with laughter, many happy tears, and one of the best bands out there, the Downtown Horns. Karyn’s smile and contagious personality filled the room with laughter, while Patrick’s quiet, yet strong presence added to the excitement. These two are so great together and I how perfect they really are together as the speeches went round and round. I appreciated how everyone welcomed me with open arms and acted as if I was one of the crew – I felt so much love and happiness throughout the day. Many happy wishes to the new, Mr. and Mrs. Krause!!
