I absolutely LOVE fall weddings – especially when the trees are in full fall-mode! For Alissa + Casey’s wedding, I definitely didn’t expect that we would have red, orange and yellow leaves for their big day, but man, did we ever! I was so surprised at how “fall-ish” their wedding portraits looked! Their day fell on a cloudy and rainy September day – we used umbrellas, shelters, and stayed underneath awnings for part of the day – but luck would have it that 30 minutes before their ceremony, the rain stopped! These two, their families and their bridal party were troopers through all of it – everyone’s spirits were high and happy throughout the entire day. They were married at the gorgeous Myra Museum in Grand Forks and partied the night away at the gorgeous Hilton near UND! I loved Alissa’s beautiful dress and the simple pearls she wore – they are timeless! Alissa + Casey are the perfect fit for each other – they clearly adore and care for each other in such a good way. I enjoyed working with them and getting to know them better – they are some of the most caring and considerate individuals I’ve ever worked with. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Hancock – I’m so happy for you both!
What a beautiful day!
